Overseas Indian Affairs Minister Vayalar Ravi yesterday called on Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, at his place in Abu Dhabi. Ravi briefed Shaikh Mohammed on new initiatives by India to ensure the welfare of Indians abroad and thanked UAE government for support to India and Indians. Shaikh Mohammed praised Indians’ effort in the UAE’s development and showed keen interest in further development of relations between the both countries. UAE Minister of Labour, Dr. Ali bin Abdullah Al Ka’abi, Indian Ambassador Talmeez Ahmad and Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce & Industry board member and business man Yusuffali M A were present.
