Abu Dhabi: In response to the call by the UAE leadership to help alleviate the suffering of hundreds of thousands of refugees fleeing the Syrian civil war as they face a bitter winter storm, LuLu Group Managing Director, Yusuff Ali M.A. has donated Dhs. 1 million to the UAE Compassion campaign. Dr. Mohammed Ateeq Al Falahi, Secretary General of UAE Red Crescent, received the cheque from Yusuff Ali in a function held at Red Crescent head office in Abu Dhabi in the presence of senior Red Crescent officials. "This is a very noble and humanitarian project and I urge each one of us to support this in whatever way we can and show our solidarity with the visionary and humanitarian leaders of this great nation" Yusuff Ali said.
