LuLu Hypermarket is organizing a 5 km walk, Walk 4 Wellness, on 29th March 2013 to raise funds for diabetes research programmes and healthcare facilities for diabetic patients. The walk will begin at Gate No. 1 of Zabeel Park at 8 AM. Special registration counters have been set up at our Dubai and Sharjah outlets for those who would like to take part in it. On-the-spot registrations will be open till 7 AM. Various games and entertainment programmes have been planned for the participants’ family members too.
LuLu Wellness Walk is aimed at preventing diabetes through awareness. With this walk we hope to motivate people to adopt a healthy lifestyle and educate them that diabetic patients can lead normal, healthy lives with simple lifestyle changes and medication.
“The proceeds from this event shall be handed over to the Dubai Government Hospital to aid financially underprivileged diabetic patients” said Mr. Salim M. A., LuLu Group Director. He also added that LuLu Hypermarket is expecting the wholehearted support of all leading organizations in Dubai towards the event.
