Yusuff Ali M.A. tops Indian Power List for the fourth successive year

Yusuff Ali M.A. has topped the list of the 100 most powerful Indians in the Gulf for the fourth time in a row with an annual turnover of $4.5 billion. The list by Arabian Business was published on 6th September 2013. Mr. Yusuff Ali took the top slot ahead of Feroz Allana of the leading food giant, the Allana Group.

V. Shankar of Standard Chartered came third, followed by Dr. B.R. Shetty, and investor Ragu Kataria. Ashish Mehta, the renowned lawyer made it to the seventh position while Sunil John, from the PR and Media category, was at number 14.

This year's list also featured 11 women, with Zulekha Daud at number 20 leading the way. Jumbo Group boss, Vidya Chhabria ranked 39th and Diva Modelling founder Nicole Larsen made her first ever appearance in the list in the 52nd place.

Arabian Business editor Ed Attwood said, "The contribution of the Indian community to the growth of the GCC has been nothing short of spectacular, and everyone on this list has played and continues to play a major part in that story."

Those figuring on the list will be honoured on October 28th at a gala event in Dubai. Cricket legend, Sunil Gavaskar will be the guest of honour.
