Abu Dhabi: The 10-day LuLu British Fest was inaugurated at Khalidiyah Mall in Abu Dhabi on 8th May 2014 by the British Ambassador to the UAE, Dominic Jeremy, in the presence of Yusuff Ali M.A. and other senior Govt. and LuLu officials. This is the 7th time that LuLu is conducting this festival throughout its stores in the UAE.
Commenting on the festival Mr. Yusuff Ali said, "It has always been our endeavour to promote the food and products of various countries in our stores. British products are a favourite among the local as well as expatriate community here and that's the reason why it is getting bigger and better every year."
LuLu which opened its own sourcing office in Birmingham, UK, last year, has imported more than 200 varieties of fresh food, frozen food, confectionery, seafood and meat products for this promotion.
The hot food counters of LuLu will be selling many dishes prepared exclusively for the festival. Cultural programmes will also be held.
