LuLu Group International announced the launch of its $300 million LuLu Mall in Lucknow. Chairman & Managing Director Yusuffali MA, elaborating the plans said: “We are making north India's largest shopping Mall with more than 2 million sq. ft. built up area, which will generate an employment of more than 5000”. It will also feature more than 200 international and national brands along with 11 screen Multiplex screens, 2500-seater Food court and more than 20 fine Dining Restaurants.
The miniature model of the LuLu Mall was unveiled in the presence of PM Narendra Modi at the inaugural function of UP Investors Summit 2018 in Lucknow, in the presence of Home Minister Rajnath Singh, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adithyanath, Governor Ram Naik and a host of union & state Ministers and foreign delegates.
Briefing PM Narendra Modi about the investment plans, Yusuffali said “we have earmarked US$ 2 billion (Rs. 14,000 crores) for the Indian market. UP has huge potential in various sectors and we are exploring investment opportunities in retail, hospitality & food processing sector in Kanpur & Noida respectively”.
