The annual mango promotion festival of LuLu Hypermarket was launched on 13 May in the UAE. The Mango Mania 2015 was inaugurated by Indian Ambassador T.P. Seetharaman at LuLu Hypermarket, Madinat Zayed, Abu Dhabi. More than 100 varieties of mangoes from 23 countries are on display, majority of them from India.
Apart from mangoes, there are many mango related products in hot food and bakery sections also. The festival will be on for the next 10 days.
Speaking on the occasion, Seetharaman said, "This is a very good platform for the Indian agri producers to showcase the world famous Indian mangoes and at the same time, the cosmopolitan population of UAE can taste a wide variety of mangoes at one place."
LuLu Group CEO Saifee Rupawala, COO Saleem V.I., Regional Director T.P.P. Abubacker, and CCO V. Nandakumar were present at the inauguration.
