The Department of Economic Development (DED), Dubai has honoured LuLu Hypermarket with the Best Consumer Friendly Retailer Award in the hypermarket category. The award was given to retailers who topped the Consumer Friendliness Index 2013.
His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum presented the award to Mr. Thamban K.P., Regional Manager - LuLu Group, at a glittering ceremony held at Intercontinental Hotel, Dubai, on 4th March 2014.
Omar Bushahab, Chief Executive Officer of CCCP in DED, said about the survey, "Nearly 94 per cent of the customers who shop at LuLu expressed happiness over billing transparency.”
Juma Al Majid, Alshaya Group-Debenhams (Retail), Tim Hortons (Coffee Shop), Emax (Electronics), and Homes R Us (Furniture) were some of the other winners.
