Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority (ADFCA) has honoured LuLu Hypermarket for introducing best practices in their outlets. The honour was presented by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of ADFCA, to Yusuff Ali M.A., Managing Director of LuLu Group, during a function held at Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi.
LuLu is the only Hypermarket to be honoured this year. ADFCA has highlighted and appreciated LuLu for implementing world class food safety and hygiene standards throughout its hypermarkets i.e., latest refrigeration and chilling equipment. LuLu is also in top position in sending highest number of its staff to undergo essential food safety training conducted by ADFCA apart from conducting in-house regular and strict hygiene audit. Scientific and convenient layout and food handling were other criteria for LuLu to get this prestige honour from ADFCA.
