LuLu participated in Dubai Cares new campaign to provide 50,000 back-to-school kits for children in Gaza as part of its 'Rebuild Palestine: Start with Education' initiative. More than 120 staff from LuLu had participated in Dubai Cares community campaign that aims to supply children in Gaza with school necessities to help them continue their education, in an effort to help inspire them for the start of the second half of the academic year as well as the New Year. The 'Rebuild Palestine: Start with Education' initiative is appealing for the assistance of UAE residents in providing 50,000 school kits at a community event scheduled between January 8 - 11, 2015 at Al Boom Tourist Village, in Dubai. The contents of the kit, sourced by Dubai Cares in accordance with UNRWA guidelines, will include a backpack, notebooks, sketch books, geometry kit, calculator, pencil case for stationery including pens, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, crayons, rulers etc.
